Victoria Villa Guest House, Sinquerim, Candolim Goa

Preface:

After spending some wonderful days at Ozran, we headed for a new beach to spend our 31^st Dec eve and New Year 2023. Our next destination was Sinquerim beach as well as Candolim, both of them are inseparable. Likewise, we booked a guest house earlier- Victoria Villa Guest House at Sinquerim.  It was actually a big villa belonging to Mr. Salvador and he rents potions of this beautiful villa to guests. let’s talk in detail about the guest house.

This villa is hardly four to five minutes’ walking distance from both “Lower Aguada Fort “ and Sinquerim beach. One just has to take left from “Joe joe’s corner bar and restaurant”.

Rooms at Victoria Villa Guest House:

This guest house has rooms on different floors. We got our stay on the first floor. There was a bedroom, a drawing room, and a balcony. We got one pair of keys. Another thing, this guest house is very much in demand during peak seasons, so early check-in may not be always possible.

Bedroom & Balcony:

After the entrance, there is a bedroom that will welcome you with a queen-sized double bed. It is also equipped with a table and two bedside tables. As per size, the bedroom has a little less space than the usual ones. That problem was partially covered by a specious balcony for us. The balcony was big enough for a family of three or a couple. Though no one has disturbed us, the villa on the opposite side can view the balcony directly, so there is a little problem with privacy.

Drawing room :

   This guest house has no kitchen but a sitting room with a medium-sized refrigerator and an electric kettle. So one can not cook here but can store cooked food. And the space problem has been solved by this sitting room. You can keep your luggage here and also do the necessary grooming for travel as this room has a dressing table and a big iron shelf. Also, there were two chairs and a tea table.

By the way, there were mineral water bottles in the fridge, but they were chargeable.

Bathroom:

The bathroom was simple yet bigger than the previous one, with a basin and geyser.

            The host and owners live in the area but they never disturbed us.  You can keep your two-wheeler inside the house at night time.

Hospitality at Victoria Villa Guest House:

Mr. Salvador and his family were both cordial and professional at the same time. They shall clean the room every day if you don’t want just ask them not to do that.

Conclusion:

So this place is very beautiful in a nice location. If you want an economic stay with 70% privacy at Sinquerim beach, Goa, you may opt for this guest house.
