Ambience
The interior decoration was quite simple but eye soothing. Colorful wooden chairs are there while the ceiling is decorated with Japanese umbrellas of several colours. Even the ceramic pots containing vinegar soaked chillies and sauces looked so cheerful. They have an outdoor seating arrangement that is suitable for a non-rainy poetic day.
Service
They were professional but very helpful. Neither they make you wait nor they are pushy. We had a pleasant uninterrupted time there.
Food
As the name suggests, it is basically a Thai and Chinese restaurant. The menu has a decent spread with some specialties. We had ordered Sweet corn soup with crabmeat, Mutton Murtabak, and Mixed Nasi Goreng-two of their specialty dishes. They had surprised us by serving Cabbage Kimchi– a traditional Korean dish. We liked the kimchi so much!
Sweet corn soup with crabmeat
The soup was clean and filled with chunks of crab meat but I didn’t like for its weird smell.
Mutton Murtabak
This is a Malaysian dish that consists of bread and mutton. Mutton Murtabak was like soft stuffed fried bread with garlic and onion inside it. The texture of the mutton manifests the quality. This item was so satisfying that I forgot the loss of crab soup. Delicious!
Mixed Nasi Goreng
Mixed Nasi Goreng is another Southeast Asian dish. It consists of 2 pieces of chicken and mixed fried rice. Along with a fried egg,it’s like Indonesian version of Chelo Kebab. Liked the rice very much, the chicken was little chewy but tasty and spicy. The chicken was dressed on a stick like Seekh Kebab.
The measure of food in the above dishes was not much but can satisfy two people.
Wallet Damage
All the items were moderately priced.
Hygiene
The indoor unit of the restaurant was neat and clean although we didn’t use the washroom.
Conclusion
Visit this one for affordability and authentic tasty Southeast Asian cuisine. You won’t regret it.
