Preface :

I think no special introduction is needed for Kentucky Fried Chicken(KFC). We all love KFC and I have visited KFCs numerous times at various places. But I have never visited KFC at Barrackpore. Though we had ordered for Taking away, we spent a good time inside the eatery and observed very well. So this blog is about KFC at Barrackpore and there is mention of Covid-19 measurement also.

It is just 1(one) minute walking distance away from the Barrackpore Railway station, situated beside Reliance Fresh and Reliance Digital store.

The Ambience of KFC, BARRACKPORE:

This is a medium-sized KFC eatery. It was half crowded and decorated with typical KFC interior decorations. The restaurant is not congested at all and ample light was coming.

Hygiene & COVID-19 measurement:  

KFC, Barrackpore maintained all the basic precautions like no contact payment, temperature check, sanitization. The restaurant was exceptionally neat and clean.

Food we ordered:

We opted for some of the KFC delicacies and ordered  Chicken Zinger Burger, Fried Chicken leg pieces,  Smoky rice bowl, Vanilla blue sparkler, and Virgin mojito.

Chicken Zinger Burger:

This is my most favourite dish at any KFC, but not every branch can make this perfect.KFC Barrackpore has delivered the Zinger Burger very well. Mayonnaise and lettuce were at the right amount, while I ate the juicy soft piece of chicken made my mind fresh and happy.

Fried Chicken leg pieces:

KFC Barrackpore delivered exactly what we need from KFC. The leg pieces were crunchy yet soft. The coating tasted awesome. The leg pieces were large enough to satisfy our appetite.

Smoky Rice Bowl:

Paromita likes rice bowls of KFC. Sodepur branch had made this dish delicious, rice was well cooked and not water-soaked like that in some other branches of KFC. The chicken piece was hot and well smoked. All the containers were airtight.

Vanilla Blue Sparkler:

Our first preference was Virgin Mojito but that was not available in that branch!! They recommended Vanilla Blue Sparkler. We didn’t like the beverage at all but the colour was very nice.

Virgin Mojito:

In my opinion, Virgin mojito is one of the best things KFC has discovered. The mixture of sparkle water, mint, ice is so refreshing that one can’t imagine without tasting this one. Due to Covid-19 and plastic use, they are using open head paper glasses but I liked the old plastic mocktail containers.

Wallet Damage:

KFC is always all about cost-effective and this joint was no exception.

Conclusion:

KFC does not need any introduction as well as any conclusion, but if you visit KFC Barrackpore will get the vibe of KFC for sure.
