Barbeque Spice- Abids, HYDERABAD – A Perfect buffet Place for Couples and Family

Preface :

We were searching for a new buffet place in Hyderabad amongst the crowd of Barbeque Nation and AB’s. After a bit of research, a few names came to mind. One day, we were passing by this restaurant at night and were so mesmerised by the dazzling look of Barbeque Spice at Abids, Hyderabad.  We felt like this restaurant does not get the hype/popularity that it deserves. So, in this blog I would try to describe our views about BBQ Spice- Abids after having a meal there.

The Ambience of Barbeque Spice- Abids:

On a fine weekend afternoon, we went there with the hope of having a sumptuous lunch. We were one of the early birds there. The eatery is huge in size, so many seating options with different decors. The facts we did like,

• The seating arrangement was comfortable and spacious, with each table positioned independently to ensure no overlap with adjacent tables.
• There are cubicle-style areas designed to provide couples with a private and comfortable space.

 Service at Barbeque Spice- Abids:

We were satisfied with their service. Everyone was so humble and attentive. They even provide service table-wise.

Food we had at Barbeque Spice- Abids:

Now let’s come to the most important point of today’s blog. As this is a buffet-only restaurant, so there is a fixed menu for everyone. Anyway, we would try to break down with separate reviews for starters, the Main Course, Desserts, and live counters.

Starters at Barbeque Spice- Abids:

Barbeque Spice has a speciality in the starters before the usual buffet starters. It is called Stone age Starters, which is basically a variation of “pathar ka gosht”. This starter will take you to the root of human civilisation. A flat, granite-like surface heated by fire at the bottom. Now the food will be prepared on this hot stone, just with spices and a little oil, like ancient times. Among the items, Seekh Kebab & Lasuni Chaap were too good.

General starters are different from common buffet starters. We liked the prawn and fish preparation in non-veg and the mushroom in veg starters.

Main Course at Barbeque Spice- Abids:

After being full and satisfied, we took a little rest, took some time to explore the interior of the large restaurant. Then we stepped towards the main course.

We began our meal with Mutton Morag soup, served hot and generously containing pieces of mutton.

BBQ Spice offers Chicken Halim throughout the year. It is always hot and delicious, full of chunky chicken pieces. We enjoyed Chicken halim very much.

Though there were various items in both veg and non-veg categories, none of them was extraordinary. But we liked the variety of salads, from seafood salad to Russian salad, every type was available.

Live Counter:

There were various live counters, we tried Chicken Pizza, Chicken Pasta, and paanipuri, all was surprisingly delightful.

Rating: 9/10

Desserts :

Desserts were, as usual, stored with Gulab Jamun, different pastries, and savouries. There was a chocolate fountain.

Rating: 8.5/10

Wallet Damage:

The expenditure for this buffet is justified by the quality offered. Please note that all beverages, except for regular water, incur an additional charge.

Conclusion:

We may visit there again, especially during some food events.
