Preface :
Hyderabad itself is an abode of Andhra and Telengana cuisine led by Hyderabadi Biryani and Chicken 65. Amidst all these legendary restaurants, we found this eatery of Kerala cuisine that is both economical and a treat to the taste buds. So here I am penning down our experience at this restaurant.

Foodie-meter:

Location:
Google Address of AKSON RESTAURANT, HYDERABAD:
Saibaba Temple Rd, above Manyavar, Dwarakapuri, Punjagutta, Hyderabad, Telangana 500082.
This restaurant is in the exact middle of Panjagutta and Irrum Manzil metro stations, above Manyavar.
The Ambience of Akson Restaurant, Hyderabad:
This is a L-shaped medium-sized family restaurant. The restaurant is on the first floor of the building. The iron staircase is on the side of the building, outside. There are big roadside glass windows with a view of busy Hyderabad, and there are tables in the middle of the restaurant. One can see the kitchen, and there is a big glass showcase for showing different fish with prices. A whiteboard is displaying the day’s special dishes. Another thing, there is no separate family section, though the ambience was safe and friendly.

Service :
From the management to the waiter, everyone was so humble and attentive. They have helped us to choose from a wide menu. One can see the kitchen, and there is a big glass showcase for showing different fish with prices. A whiteboard is displaying the day’s special dishes.

Food we ordered at Akson Restaurant, Hyderabad:
As I have said earlier, AKSON is a Kerala cuisine speciality restaurant. The menu contains everything from breakfast to desserts, from egg to mutton dishes, and above all, has rich seafood options. We had ordered Crab Roast, Prawn Fry, Mutton Roast (boneless), Appam, Parotta, Puttu, and Mint Lime Juice.
Crab Roast:
Crab Roast is a special dish at Akson Restaurant. The dish is very photogenic. Sea crabs have been cooked with spices and coconut. It’s almost a dry dish, but not fried, the curry was stuck to the crab like a layer only. One can take this with both parotta and rice. It tasted good but not very special.
Rating: 4/5

Prawn Fry:
This one was too good. Big-sized prawns fried with curry leaves and spices will set anyone’s mood. We enjoyed this starter thoroughly. MUST TRY.
Rating: 5/5

Mutton Roast (boneless):
Boneless Mutton Roast is another beautiful item we had at Akson Restaurant, Hyderabad. Big chunks and juicy pieces from the shoulders (front leg) of a goat, accompanied by Parotta is a deadly combination. We had to order more to savour this delightful combination. MOST RECOMMENDED
Rating: 5/5

Appam, Parotta, Puttu:
Puttu was a little off, it was dry and missing the refined flavour of coconut. Although appam and parotta had made up for the loss. They were fresh and tasted superb!
Rating: 4/5

Mint Lime Juice:
Another heart-winning item, this beverage was full of ingredients but blended so good that we did not get any smell of raw vegetables or artificial flavour. It is a good refreshing addition to all the heavy dishes.
Rating: 5/5
Wallet Damage:
To us, this restaurant was pretty budget-friendly; all the main courses and starters can be shared among three people effortlessly.
Conclusion:
We would definitely visit this restaurant again to taste other dishes, especially egg items and biryani.
